Lixiod Technologies

My name is Miaoumap24 and me and my team created Lixiod Technologies to host Lixiod Project, Lixiod Labs and all our other small projects.

And what do these projects do? Well, their goal is to be useful, simple, secure, and straight to the point. All of this without collecting your data or forcing you to pay, as there are zero paid options in ALL our projects.

We will continue for as long as we can (and we will be able to for a very long time :) ) to maintain, create, and improve our projects.

What we stand for

No data collection

We don't track you, profile you, or sell anything about you, because there's nothing to sell. No analytics scripts, no ad networks, no hidden pings home. What you do in our projects stays yours.

No paid options

Every feature in every project is free, permanently. There's no premium tier waiting behind a paywall, no trial that expires, no "free forever*" with an asterisk attached.

Simple by default

We'd rather ship something small that works than something large that impresses. Interfaces stay out of your way, and features earn their place by being genuinely useful.

Built to last

We maintain what we ship. A project launched under Lixiod isn't abandoned the week after release — it gets fixes, small improvements, and attention for as long as people rely on it.

Why we exist

Most software today is built around a trade: you get a convenient tool, and in exchange you hand over your data, your attention, or your money, usually all three. We think that trade is rarely a fair one, and it's almost never necessary.

Lixiod Technologies started as a handful of small personal projects that a few of us kept building for ourselves, because the tools we wanted either didn't exist, cost money we didn't want to spend, or quietly collected far more than they needed to. Eventually those side projects needed a proper home, so Lixiod Technologies became that home: one place to host, document, and maintain everything we make.

Nothing here is funded by investors expecting a return, so nothing here is designed to extract more from you over time. We're not trying to build a company that scales to millions of users and gets acquired. We're trying to build things that are useful to the people who find them, for as long as we can keep building.

Our story

The start

At first, I started to worry about my privacy. I realized that all the most widely used tools, websites, and apps are controlled by the tech giants—the very same giants that steal your data and sell it—so I put together a team to figure out how to solve this problem.

Going public

We start by coding these tools day after day to refine them and make them available to the public.

Lixiod Technologies

Our list of projects is growing, and we’re constantly updating our tools, services, and web pages. We needed to bring them all together, so we’ve organized them under a nonprofit organization—Lixiod Technologies—and two websites: Lixiod Project and Lixiod Labs.

Today

We keep shipping, fixing, and maintaining, a small independent team with no outside funding, no roadmap dictated by investors, and no intention of changing that.

Frequently asked questions

Is everything really free?

Yes. Every project under Lixiod Technologies is free to use, with zero paid tiers, zero subscriptions, and no plans to add any.

How do you pay for hosting if nothing is paid?

We collect old mobile devices (phones, tablets), install Lineage OS on them, and then host the Lixiod Projects instances on them.

Do you collect any data at all?

No. We don't run analytics, trackers, or advertising scripts on our projects.

What's the difference between Lixiod Project and Lixiod Labs?

Lixiod Project hosts our main, stable tools that we commit to maintaining long term. Lixiod Labs is for smaller or more experimental projects that may evolve quickly or stay niche on purpose.

Can I suggest a project or report an issue?

Yes, we welcome it. You can suggest or report an issue on this page, we read everything that comes in.
